Role
Lead the strategic and operational growth of Kaplan’s newly established on-campus pathway college for international students progressing to the University of Newcastle.
Ensure College students experience educational outcomes of the highest quality and the optimum preparation for their continued study at the University of Newcastle.
Responsibilities
- Establish the new College
- Lead the College team, directly managing the Academic Manager & Student Services Manager
- Ensure positive student outcomes and strong progression to the University
- Establish close relationships with key stakeholders at Kaplan and the University
- Develop ongoing quality assurance processes
- Identify and implement new opportunities for business growth
Requirements
- Extensive senior management experience in the higher education sector
- Experience in people and operational leadership
- Experience in the international student environment
- Experience in building relationships with a partner university
- Hands-on management style
- Willingness to travel interstate and overseas when required
- PhD qualified, desirable
