Role
Mid-level Devops Engineer role, in a high calibre, 16 strong team of software development, engineering and sales professionals. The development team is currently composed of 1 Devops Engineer, 2 AI/ML Engineers, 3 Full Stack Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Work on the core Red Marker infrastructure
- Work on new infrastructure rollouts, plus support for legacy services/apps with a focus on scalability, redundancy and fault tolerance
- Continuously improve efficiencies (cost and operational) with new technologies
- Implement monitoring of key system metrics to ensure availability
- Help shape and support our dev process including developer tooling and process automation
Requirements
- Highly proficient in Ansible, Terraform, & best practice in “Infrastructure as Code”
- Experience in queue systems such as RabbitMQ in a Microservice Architecture
- Experience in Amazon Web Services, in particular EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/Fargate
- Experience in Jenkins automation CI + Deployment pipelines
- Experience in secure design and multi region workloads
- Experience in Linux administration and shell scripting
- Experience in Docker or similar container technology
- Experience with monitoring tools and services such as the ELK stack
