Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Student Recruitment to provide senior marketing and recruitment leadership to our partnership with The University of Newcastle, ensuring the partnership is well positioned within internal and external sales channels, supporting the development of efficient and effective recruitment, marketing, and admissions operation. The position acts as a brand/destination champion to recruitment team, whilst providing critical relationship support to key University stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the business, develop a clear value proposition for the college, and act as an ongoing liaison between Kaplan and University of Newcastle covering all operational aspects of student recruitment
- Build and deliver a complete product training program for Kaplan recruitment staff and recruitment
- Support the ongoing development of marketing and counselling collateral in partnership with both The University of Newcastle and Kaplan ANZ Marketing
- Support the wider sales teams to recruit international students to the college
- Work across multiple stakeholders to provide market insight and recommendations to inform strategic and operational planning and decision-making
- Provide Brand and Destination Champion support to global recruitment network and agent network and attending events and other recruitment activities as required
- Manage the University of Newcastle relationship as it relates to Recruitment providing regular reporting on sales and compliance matters
- Plan, facilitate and host campus visits including those from potential students, families, agents, familiarisation visits (Staff and agents)
- Monitor and manage all recruitment market activity conducted on behalf of the University of Newcastle College of International Education
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in international student recruitment in Australia, ideally in the university or university pathways sector managing a successful recruitment operation (essential)
- Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- A proven history of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets
- Chinese language skills (desirable)
- Design software skills (desirable)
