Role
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and target-driven Student Recruitment Manager for South Asia, to deliver strong student recruitment growth specifically to our New Zealand university partner, Massey University – both through agent-led direct admission to the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs, and through Massey University College.
The Student Recruitment Manager is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service and business relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, supporting our partner agents across the region, generating new business while retaining existing business.
Responsibilities.
- Developing and implement a sales and recruitment strategy for South Asia
- Full responsibility for sales performance, and for managing the recruitment budget for the region in line with the Senior Regional Manager (South Asia), KI ANZ’s direction
- Driving student recruitment outcomes to achieve regional targets for Massey University agent-led enrolments
- Driving the highest levels of performance within the team and delivering best-in-sector customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- Regular reporting on progress against objectives via agreed KPI’s, and providing regular market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships
- Supporting GTE assessments (or equivalent) in cooperation with India-based, New Zealand-based and Australia-based Admissions colleagues, and informing the continual monitoring and improvement of the GTE process (or equivalent) for the relevant regions
- Converting student opportunities and responding to all enquiries within forty-eight business hours
- Assessing the ROI of participating in recruitment fairs and events, prioritising high-value activities
Requirements
- Degree qualification or equivalent work experience (essential)
- Experience of international education agent relationship management (essential)
- Experience of international sales or marketing; solid understanding of New Zealand and International Higher Education (incl. Government regulatory and compliance legislation framework) (essential)
- Experience of travel in South Asia
- Results-orientated, ambitious, and highly self-motivated
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences and levels of organisational seniority
- Strong grasp of marketing resources and how they can be used for different audiences
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within tight deadlines
- Willing to travel overseas independently and to work irregular hours as required
