Role
The University of Adelaide College is seeking teachers in three subjects (General Maths, Accounting and Computing) for its Foundation program in the Melbourne Docklands campus. The Foundation program delivers a range of year 12-equivalent subjects to international students over two semesters. The vacancies are for the program due to start in July/August. Successful students subsequently continue to the University of Adelaide College and University of Adelaide courses at the Melbourne campus. The University of Adelaide College is the preferred pathway provider for the University of Adelaide, and classes are delivered either at the College’s Melbourne or Adelaide premises or on the main campus of the University of Adelaide.
The College provides a supportive learning environment to give students the maximum opportunity for success.
Teaching hours are between 8am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday. The program is delivered in two semesters over an academic year.
Requirements:
- a recognised degree majoring in the relevant subject area
- a secondary teaching or education qualification and/or
- at least 2 years’ secondary or tertiary experience
