Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will join our focused sales team, driving sales of the Red Marker SaaS platform in the Australian market.
Based in Australia’s east coast time zone, you will be comfortable in an "all hands-on deck" environment, able to operate and coordinate autonomously and across workstreams, and can thrive in a LegalTech/MarTech culture.
This role is for a high achiever who is focused on client acquisition and client development and takes initiative to find the most optimal solution to achieve the business outcomes required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline with a variety of opportunities and account sizes, with clients directly
- Own the client and the sale until revenue is realised
- Generating leads through cold outreach, exploring CRM and client lists
- Develop the relationships with the clients, setting expectations and delivering on them
- Build and foster strong relationships with clients, Implementation Consultants, Engineering Teams and Product Teams to ensure consistent delivery against sales strategy and resolution of issues that arise in a timely manner
- Make a significant contribution to the growth of Red Marker’s products through driving strong client sales in Australia
Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in a Business Development role with a history in selling LegalTech or MarTech software solutions to large/enterprise clients across a range of industries (essential)
- Qualifications and/or training in sales with a comprehensive understanding of sales techniques (essential)
- Experience in LegalTech or MarTech software solutions (desirable)
- An understanding of IT with experience in directly selling solutions at the enterprise level.
- High level of integrity with the ability to work autonomously
- Interested in working at the intersection of machine learning and business processes (desirable)
