ELICOS/ESL Teacher

• Looking for Casual ELICOS teachers-based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney

Role:

We are looking ESL teacher’s to efficiently plan and deliver high quality, engaging English lessons to international students whilst meeting administrative obligations. The classes will be delivered from any KBS Campus based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently planning and delivering high quality online or face-2-face English lessons for up to 21 hours a week as needed and in accordance with class schedules
• Conducting courses spanning a range of levels of General English and English for Academic Purposes courses to international students who will proceed to study further in their higher education provider
• Carrying out administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner
• Addressing individual student needs and concerns both in and outside the classroom as appropriate to educational and institutional guidelines
• Fostering and participating in a team environment and contributing to the effective delivery of quality English language courses offered to international students

Requirements:

• Experience in the delivery of ESL lessons to international students(essential)
• CELTA and Bachelor’s degree (essential)
• Proven experience working with diverse groups of students and colleagues (essential)
• Excellent customer service skills, with a 'student first' attitude
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a dynamic approach to classroom performance
• A commitment to delivering an unforgettable student experience
• Effective communication skills
• Strong technology capabilities, digital literacy
• Highly developed organisation & time management skill
