Role
We are looking for a Senior Curriculum Consultant and a Course Coordinator to make a meaningful contribution to our students’ online learning experience. You will play a key role in the design, development and evaluation of innovative learning and assessment materials for a defined suite of courses in vocational education and non-accredited courses.
The Course Coordinator position would suit a learning and development specialist with experience in designing and developing learning and assessment materials, who holds strong project management and coordination skills.
The Senior Curriculum Consultant role also holds these responsibilities, but additionally plays a lead role in the curriculum design and review process and/or leads complex curriculum-based projects.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Academic Programs Manager, International Programs and works alongside other Course Coordinators
- Contribute to and project manage the design and development of new, engaging online learning & assessment materials
- Ensure materials are updated in line with relevant schedules
- Ensure all collateral for the delivery of courses has been created and is readily available in appropriate formats for delivery mode/s
- Ensure all practitioners are engaged and inducted in relevant tasks as required
- Contribute to and assist with the smooth running of courses to ensure positive student experiences
- Ensure the delivery of courses meets Kaplan Professional standards and accreditation obligations
- Manage stakeholder engagement strategies to support the delivery of programs and courses
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships across the organisation and work as part of cross functional teams as required
- Provide support to Student Services and Student Advisers when required and address any specific course concerns
Requirements
- Experience working in an L&D environment in a Higher Education provider or RTO (essential)
- Experience working with international students and/or education markets (essential)
- Project management skills (essential)
- Experience in developing learning resources to enhance students’ experience
- Qualifications, experience, or active interest in financial services (including but not limited to the following areas: Financial Planning (desirable)
- A bachelor’s degree (desirable)
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or upgraded TAE40110) (desirable)
