Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Reporting and Data Analytics Manager who will be responsible for leading the Kaplan Business School and Kaplan International Pathways Australia Reporting and Data Analytics team.

The Reporting and Data Analytics team are responsible for providing accurate data and interpretation of reports related to student enrolment data.  In this role you will work closely with the executive and senior leadership team to drive improvements in business intelligence solutions and business reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead and support the Reporting and Data Analytics team to support existing business-as-usual responsibilities and drive enhancements.
• Partner with various managerial stakeholders to gather and convert data into meaningful and insightful business reports and visualisations in Power BI.
• Collaborate with the Kaplan ANZ IT team with a view to delivering ongoing improvements to the data and reporting solutions.
• Effectively manage multiple projects at any given time and proactively develop initiatives to enhance to function.
• Engage the appropriate stakeholders to achieve the key business objectives across KBS and Pathways.
• Engage with key stakeholders to evaluate existing and future report formats with a view to develop consistency across schools.
• Ensure documentation of processes is completed and maintained.

Requirements: 

• 2-3 years’ experience in a management role (essential)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a data analytics/reporting role (essential)
• Ability to interact and influence at various levels within a complex organisation and to work collaboratively across functions, levels, and departments toward shared objectives.
• Ability to define requirements including thorough formal data analysis methodologies.
• Demonstrated design capability in both data engineering and data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• An experienced Power BI user (design, build, model, DAX) and design and development of Tabular Models in Power BI
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications (desirable)
• Previous experience working in the Education sector (desirable)
