Role

We are looking for a committed Business Analyst that will work across the Kaplan Business School (KBS) and Pathways (PWs) Program of Work, which encompasses a diverse range of business initiatives.  

This role will suit someone with a natural analytical and critical way of thinking with a diverse and solid background. We want someone who will identify, review and document Business information to improve business processes and systems, while working collaboratively with a variety of Stakeholders and Technical Design, Development and Delivery resources to align solutions with business requirements, strategies, and plans. 

Responsibilities:

·         Translate conceptual business requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehendible to business stakeholders, leads, technical designers, developers and operational teams

·         Identify and clearly articulate the problem(s) or opportunity(ies) to be solved by an initiative/project

·         Elicit, analyse, clearly define, validate and prioritise business, regulatory, compliance, functional plus non-functional requirements

·         Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforcing and redefining  them as necessary, ensuring traceability to design and functionality

·         Analyse commercial data such as budgets, sales results, and forecasts

·         Conduct market analyses

·         Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

·         Create process models and diagrams, wireframes, data maps

Requirements: 

·         Minimum 4 years of proven business analysis experience working in business, digital, product development, education and/or technical environments (essential)

·         CCBA®, PMI-PBA®, CBAP®, Scrum, Agile Certifications or relevant industry qualifications (essential)

·         Demonstrated experience working with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid delivery methodologies, and Practices (essential)

·         Proven experience working in collaboration with IT teams with a clear understanding of business versus technology roles and responsibilities when delivering solutions

·         Successful track record working in organisations of varying maturity levels across technology and business-related projects

·         Experience working in a formal project team

·         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

·         Outstanding documentation skills particularly pertaining to analysis and requirements

·         Able to work in sometimes ambiguous environments
