This Market Manager (Philippines) role will be employed by Globalization Partners Philippines Pte. Ltd and based in the Philippines. The role will include providing services to the Student Recruitment department of Kaplan Business School (KBS), a client of Globalization Partners Philippines Pte. Ltd.
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Market Manager who has experience and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at a senior level, to support the student recruitment efforts in relevant markets. This position will work with the KBS recruitment team to develop and implement ambitious sales, marketing, and recruitment activities for Kaplan Business School.
In this role, you will be responsible for designated markets within South East Asia, initially focusing on Philippines but with the possibility of extending to other South East Asian countries in the future.
This is a home-based position with extensive travel within the region for meetings and exhibitions.
Key activities of the Role:
· Develop, promote, and build KBS profile in the offshore Philippines market focusing on establishing relationships with local education providers, authorities, agents, and other stakeholders
· Establish a clear and concise value proposition for KBS within the Philippines Higher Education market to drive enrolments
· Regular and highly professional attendance at external meetings and events
· In collaboration with KBS Senior Regional Manager, develop and implement strategic plans for designated market segments
· Driving student recruitment outcomes to achieve challenging recruitment targets
· Converting student opportunities from new leads to deposit paid including responding to all enquiries within 48 hours
· Assessing the Return on Investment of participating in recruitment fairs and events that take place in the Philippines to prioritise and participate in high-value recruitment events and activities
· Manage and develop KBS network of recruitment agents for the Philippines market by maintaining positive and effective relationships, and arranging, evaluating recruitment and marketing activities
Requirements
· Relevant professional qualifications in a discipline such as business, marketing, or international studies (essential), Australian education preferred but not essential
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in education-related business development, sales, marketing or similar (essential)
· A sound understanding of Australia’s further and higher education and/or experience of international students studying in Australia (essential)
· Results-orientated, ambitious, and highly motivated, ability to work to tight deadlines
· Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written in Filipino and English who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences and levels of organisational seniority
· Demonstrated ability to research and analyse material and data
· Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing student recruitment in Philippines and achieving or exceeding set targets
· High level of literacy and attention to detail to produce clear concise reports
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within inflexible deadlines
· Willing to travel independently and to work irregular hours as required (may be required to work during weekends and public holidays from time to time)
