Role

The University of Adelaide College (UoAC) Melbourne – the Melbourne-based preferred pathways provider to the prestigious University of Adelaide – is seeking to recruit lecturers for Semester 2 (commencing on July 24, 2023) to teach face-to-face at the Melbourne campus. We are looking for academics who have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:

• Accounting
• Commercial Law
• Computer Science
• Corporate Finance
• Economics
• Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Marketing
• Technology (Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security)

Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive and engaging lectures and tutorials
• Grading of assessments, which includes comprehensive student feedback
• Provide regular support and consultation to your students
• Foster professional and productive student/teacher relationships

Requirements

• A Master’s-level or Doctoral-level qualification coupled with relevant industry and teaching experience 
• Sensitivity to the needs of international students 
• Comprehensiveness and thoughtfulness when grading assessments 
• Ability to meet tight academic deadlines 
• Availability to teach face-to-face on the Melbourne Docklands Campus

In Melbourne all of the University of Adelaide’s academic programs and curriculum are taught by academic staff employed by Kaplan Pathways, with the university providing oversight of quality assurance and assessment.
