Casual Lecturers

• Join our lecturing team for Trimester 2 beginning in July, and Trimester2x beginning in September
• Three to six hours of face-to-face teaching per week
• Ongoing lecturing work available for strong performers 
• After three trimesters, be eligible for a permanent part-time position  

Role

Kaplan Business School – one of the highest-quality providers of higher education in Australia – is seeking industry professionals as well as tertiary sessional staff to teach face-to-face at our Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney campuses for the following areas: 

Data Analytics

• Data Analytics
• Statistics
• Introductory Statistics
• Data Science
• Business Intelligence
• Data Analytics in Finance

Accounting 

• Accounting Information Systems
• Auditing
• Financial Reporting
• Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Facilitate memorable and highly interactive workshops
• Mark assessments promptly and provide comprehensive feedback
• Foster professional and productive student-teacher relationships
• Provide regular support and consultation to students

Requirements 

• A passion for teaching and mentoring
• A Master’s-level or doctoral-level qualification coupled with industry experience 
• An appreciation of the distinction between lecturing and educating 
• Sensitivity to the needs of international students 
• Comprehensiveness and thoughtfulness when marking assessments 
• Ability to meet tight academic deadlines 
• Experience in coordinating subjects at a tertiary level is desirable (but not required)
