Role

Kaplan Business School – one of the highest-quality providers of higher education in Australia – is advertising for face-to-face lecturing positions at our Melbourne campus to teach in the below areas:

• Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Python Programming
• Data Visualisation Software
• Data Management and Storage
• Data Security and Ethics
• Time-series Forecasting
• Data Analytics in Finance
• Social Media Analytics

We have multiple subjects available in the above areas, with opportunities to convert to permanent part-time or full-time equivalent faculty positions.

We are also recruiting for subject coordinators in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Data Security and Ethics. Please include reference to this in your CV if you are interested.

Requirements 

• A passion for teaching and mentoring
• A Master’s-level qualification
• Industry experience is preferred
• An appreciation of the distinction between lecturing and educating 
• Sensitivity to the needs of international students 
• Comprehensiveness and thoughtfulness when marking assessments 
• Ability to meet tight academic deadlines 
• Experience in coordinating subjects at a tertiary level is desirable (but not required)
