Role
We currently have an opening for a University Lecturer in Accounting, Business and Finance to support the Academic Dean in the management of academic activity at the Melbourne Campus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, and coordinate high quality courses in the appointee's area of expertise at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, plus demonstrate an interest and ability to teach in other areas across the College.
- Support the Academic Dean in the recruitment, management, and professional development of all members of the academic team and ensure that teaching facilities including Information Technology equipment is current and operational.
- Assist the Academic Dean and the Melbourne Campus Manager in the training and induction of new teachers.
- Foster positive and productive student/teacher relationships.
- Ensure attendance records are completed each week for each course – lectures and tutorials.
- Comply with company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirements.
- Ensure as far as is practicable that the workplace, under your control, is safe and without risks to health.
Requirements
- Doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline (essential)
- Understanding of legislation and regulations governing our industry (essential)
- Ability to consistently interpret and apply policy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent computer literacy
The annual salary range for this role is between $93,294K – $104,820K plus super
