Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch of our new Kaplan Business School Gold Coast campus. We are looking for a Student Recruitment Manager, who will work with a dynamic and supportive team of KBS recruitment professionals and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities. You will also have the chance to liaise with senior-level stakeholders and influence the strategic direction of KBS.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Promoting the KBS brand and generating business opportunities
- Achieving sales targets through inbound and outbound sales and service initiatives
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with education and industry contacts
- Recruiting and retaining students for our new Gold Coast campus
Responsibilities
- Driving student recruitment outcomes to achieve challenging recruitment targets
- Develop, promote, and build KBS profile in the Gold Coast onshore market focusing on establishing relationships with local education agents, existing articulation partner and other stakeholders
- Establish a clear and concise value proposition for KBS within the Gold Coast Higher Education market to drive enrolments and differentiate the KBS offering in the market
- Build and manage relationships with agents, ensuring that they are well serviced, trained and delivering on performance metrics
- Counsel prospective students regarding KBS courses and study pathways
- Ensure that expert and relevant advice is provided to assist prospects with their purchase decision
- Converting student opportunities from new leads to deposit paid including responding to all enquiries within the agreed timeframe
- Write and present reports for team and management meetings, or other as required, and prepare reports as required by Line Manag
- Manage and develop KBS network of recruitment agents by maintaining positive and effective relationships, and arranging, evaluating recruitment and marketing activities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience education-related business development, sales, marketing or similar (essential)
- Relevant professional qualifications in a discipline such as business, marketing, or international studies, preferred Australian education (essential)
- A sound understanding of Australia’s further and higher education and/or experience of international students studying in Australia (essential)
- Results-orientated, ambitious, and highly motivated, ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written in English who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences and levels of organisational seniority
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyses material and data
- High level of literacy and attention to detail to produce clear concise reports
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within inflexible deadlines
- Willing to travel independently and to work irregular hours as required from time to time. You may be requested to work on a weekend or public holiday (for example, to attend a recruitment event that occurs on that day).
