We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Credit Controller to join our finance team on a max term contract for six months. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Manage customer credit limits and payment terms
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare reports on account status and collections performance
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations
- Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the risk associated with extending credit
Key requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of credit control experience (essential)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in integration with multiple systems (essential)
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated practical application of accounting concepts (essential)
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative in solving problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accounting/business degree or equivalent (desirable)
