We are currently accepting applications for several casual or relief teaching vacancies, especially in (but not limited to) the following disciplines:
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Information Technology for Business
- Biology
- Physics
- Management and Economics
- Accounting
- Mathematics
Responsibilities:
- Prepare courses for online and/or face-to-face classes in conjunction with weekly teaching material before the classes
- Preparation of course teaching materials and handouts in collaboration with other teaching team members
- Developing course outlines, curriculum documents, and assessment tasks in collaboration with other teaching team members
- Ensure all Foundation classes are conducted in a professional manner
- Weekly scheduled consultation with students – being available to students for consultation out of class, especially for students considered to be at risk
- Mark all continual assessments and final examinations in line with marking guides
- Ensure that marking is completed in the allocated timeframe and recorded in the agreed LMS to allow for moderation
- Provide marking feedback to the Academic Coordinator
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification and a tertiary degree in a relevant subject from an accredited institution (essential)
- Experience teaching online classes delivery as well as knowledge of digital teaching tools and methods (essential)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to motivate and lead others
- Intellectual and operational flexibility
