Role

The Market Manager role will be employed by Globalization Partners Sri Lanka Pte. Ltd and based in Sri Lanka. The role will include providing services to the Student Recruitment department of Kaplan Business School, a client of Globalization Partners, with a focus on expanding KBS’s reach and impact in the Sri Lanka market. As Market Manager, you will be responsible for promoting KBS programs in Sri Lanka, generating new business opportunities, and delivering high-quality customer service and business relationship management through proactive inbound and outbound initiatives. You will also be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the education sector and related industries. A key focus of the role is to enhance brand visibility and recognition for KBS across Sri Lanka, ensuring alignment with the institution’s global standards and strategic objectives

 

Key activities of the Role:

  • Develop and promote the KBS brand across Sri Lanka, building strategic relationships with education agents, academic institutions, and key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement student recruitment campaigns, achieving ambitious growth targets in collaboration with the Regional Director.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agents, ensuring performance, engagement, and alignment with KBS objectives.
  • Identify and engage with potential partner institutions to explore collaboration opportunities that support student recruitment.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis, providing regular insights and intelligence to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the ESOS Act and KBS policies, particularly regarding the Genuine Student (GS) framework.
  • Represent KBS at events, fairs, and networking opportunities, ensuring consistent and professional brand representation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate across Kaplan networks to ensure a unified, data-driven recruitment approach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international student recruitment within the Australian education sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian education system, including international student recruitment and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to meet recruitment targets and execute data-driven marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with high proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship management, working effectively with education agents, clients, and stakeholders across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare insightful reports.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within the region and work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
