Tutor, Assessor – Online Learning

Role

Are you a financial services professional ready to take your industry expertise into the education space? We are looking for a passionate Tutor, Assessor with a background in Finance and Mortgage Broking to join our team on a 12-month maximum term, full-time contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to your industry by supporting students undertaking Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications in financial services. You will play a key role in guiding their learning journey, while enjoying the flexibility to work from home and the office each week.

Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively in student forums to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback to enhance student outcomes
  • Assess assignments using clear and structured marking guides
  • Contribute to the development of learning content, including subject materials and assessments

Requirements

  • Experience working in the Mortgage Broking industry (essential)
  • For all Tutor and Assessing roles, you must hold the current TAE40116 or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education, or hold the Assessor Skill Set and working towards the TAE (essential)
  • Vocational competency (Diploma level) or higher in Finance and Mortgage Broking (essential)
