We are seeking an Academic Integrity Team Leader to play a pivotal role in upholding and promoting our culture of academic honesty and ethical behaviour. This leadership position is responsible for guiding a national team of Academic Integrity and Conduct Officers and ensuring the efficient, fair, and effective handling of all academic misconduct matters. 

Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with leadership experience in the higher education sector. You will be passionate about academic integrity, skilled in managing sensitive cases, and confident in influencing diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a collaborative, high-performing national team of Academic Integrity and Conduct Officers.
  • Oversee and enhance academic integrity policies, processes, and preventative strategies.
  • Conduct investigations into academic misconduct including plagiarism, contract cheating, and collusion.
  • Educate and support students, train faculty, and ensure clarity and consistency in policy communication.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to develop evidence-based solutions to misconduct trends.
  • Maintain accurate records, produce insightful reports, and recommend process improvements.
  • Advocate for and implement technologies to reduce instances of misconduct.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor-level qualification.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in academic administration within the education industry.
  • Prior people management experience (managing a small team).
  • Prior management experience and knowledge of academic integrity practices.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Experience in education delivery.
  • Formal professional development in ethics or academic integrity.
  • Ability to influence senior academics and management.
