Role
Kaplan Business School (KBS) is seeking sessional facilitators (lecturers) for our Enterprise Practice and Accounting (EPA) discipline at our Gold Coast, Sydney and Perth campuses. The primary purpose of facilitators at KBS is to facilitate engaging and highly interactive structured workshops in accordance with the syllabus, mark assignments in line with marking guides, and provide regular feedback and consultation to students.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to teach at the postgraduate level, ideally with a Doctoral-level qualification or a Master-level qualification with industry experience in one or more of the following technical areas of our Master of Accounting and MBA courses:
- Law – Contract and Corporations Law
- Governance
- Tax Accounting
- Management Accounting
It is essential to us that candidates are either presently active in industry or have accumulated sufficient recent work experience, since our philosophy at Kaplan Business School is to cultivate job-ready graduates who have been taught and assessed in line with the expectations of their future employers.

Requirements
- A passion for teaching
- A PhD qualification in Law, Governance or Accounting (or a related field) or a Master-level qualification in Law, Governance or Accounting (or a related field) and relevant work experience
- Industry experience in an appropriately related field is preferred
- An appreciation of the distinction between lecturing and educating
- Sensitivity to the needs of international students
- Comprehensiveness and thoughtfulness when marking assessments
- Ability to meet tight academic deadlines
