Role 

The Regional Manager (Middle East & North Africa) role will be employed by Remote and based in Cairo, Egypt. The role will include providing services to the Student Recruitment department of Kaplan International Pathways (KIP) ANZ portfolio. 

This is a hands-on role that combines student recruitment, relationship management, and market development. You will be responsible for supporting and developing our partner agent network, generating new business, and ensuring the retention of existing business. A key aspect of the role is the delivery of exceptional customer service and strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities 

  • Support Regional Strategy Implementation - Assist the Regional Director (Africa, Middle East, Central & South Asia) in delivering a multi-channel engagement strategy for Kaplan International Pathways (KIP) ANZ across the North Africa region.
  • Agent Relationship Management - Build, train, and maintain strong relationships with education agents, ensuring they are well-informed about KIP ANZ study options, destinations, courses, and application processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including university partners, sponsorship bodies, and industry associations, to drive collaboration and growth.
  • Market Reporting and Intelligence - Provide regular progress reports against KPIs, deliver competitor insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making through market intelligence.
  • Customer Service Excellence - Deliver best-in-sector service to both internal and external stakeholders by responding to all agent and partner enquiries within 48 business hours.
  • Event and Activity Management - Plan and participate in engagement events, exhibitions, and familiarisation tours, assessing return on investment and ensuring alignment with regional priorities.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support - Work closely with KI ANZ businesses and the Marketing team to identify collaborative opportunities and develop region-specific promotional materials.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance - Ensure all activities comply with Department of Home Affairs (Australia) and Immigration New Zealand regulations, maintaining up-to-date product and policy knowledge.

Requirements

  • Arabic Language Proficiency - Professionally proficient in spoken, written, and reading Arabic, with excellent English communication skills.
  • Education and Experience - University-level qualification with demonstrated experience in international education, marketing, or engagement roles.
  • Knowledge of ANZ Education Sector - Strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand higher education landscape, including government regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Agent Relationship Experience - Proven success in managing international education agent networks and delivering impactful engagement outcomes.
  • Regional Expertise - Experience travelling and working independently across North Africa, with cultural awareness and regional market knowledge.
  • Results-Driven and Organised - Highly motivated, results-oriented professional with strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical and Marketing Skills - Sound understanding of marketing tools and resources, with the ability to tailor them for different audiences (Salesforce experience desirable).
  • Flexibility and Travel Readiness - Willing and able to travel internationally (15–20 weeks per year) and work flexible hours to meet business needs.
