Are you an experienced Senior Financial Adviser, Compliance Manager, or Advice Coach looking to apply your expertise in a new way?

This role offers the opportunity to step beyond client files and influence the professional capability of advisers across the industry. You will design and write contemporary, practice-relevant learning modules that strengthen adviser knowledge, judgement and technical skill.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced financial advice professional to develop sophisticated multimedia learning content and assessments for Continuing Education (CE), short courses and bespoke industry programs.

This is an autonomous, intellectually engaging role where you will:

  • Research and write technically accurate, practice-ready learning modules
  • Develop case studies and scenarios reflecting real-world advice challenges
  • Translate complex regulatory and strategic concepts into clear, applied guidance
  • Script and contribute to videos, motion graphics and interactive activities
  • Interview industry experts and incorporate diverse practitioner perspectives
  • Work collaboratively with instructional designers and multimedia producers to bring content to life

You will have ownership of modules from concept through to final production, ensuring content is technically robust, commercially realistic and aligned with current regulatory standards.

About You

You will likely have:

  • Significant experience within a financial planning practice (e.g. Senior Financial Adviser, Technical Specialist, Compliance Manager, Advice Coach or Professional Standards role)
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian financial advice regulation and professional obligations
  • Experience mentoring, reviewing or uplifting adviser capability
  • The ability to articulate complex advice concepts clearly and practically
  • Excellent written communication and research capability
  • Confidence working independently while meeting agreed production timelines

Postgraduate qualifications in financial planning or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

Experience in presenting to camera, recording voice-overs or contributing to professional development materials is desirable but not essential.
