Role

Kaplan Pathways is seeking a creative, organised and digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for a content-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves bringing brands to life through engaging, short-form video and social storytelling. You’ll play a key role in executing social media strategy across multiple Kaplan Pathways brands, supporting student recruitment across domestic and international markets.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Kaplan Pathways, you will manage projects end-to-end while collaborating with students, ambassadors and internal stakeholders to create engaging and authentic content.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and publish engaging short-form video and static content using Canva.
  • Manage and schedule content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with students and ambassadors to develop authentic user-generated content (UGC).
  • Maintain and execute the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.
  • Implement social media strategies aligned to brand, campaign and recruitment objectives.
  • Monitor platform trends and proactively recommend innovative content ideas to increase engagement.
  • Track, analyse and report on social media performance, providing actionable optimisation insights.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing stakeholders to ensure integrated campaign delivery across channels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a marketing or social media role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-platform social media accounts.
  • Advanced Canva skills, with strong video editing capability.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics and optimisation techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for brand consistency.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Desirable

  • Experience in international education or a B2C environment.
  • Exposure to CRM systems, email marketing platforms or analytics tools.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience.
