Role
Kaplan Professional is looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to help support the smooth delivery of our financial advice courses.
This role would suit someone with strong administration experience in education, training, higher education, or learning and development, who enjoys working with systems, data, students and internal teams.
In this role, you will help make sure our online courses are set up correctly, learning materials are ready for students, student results and data are tracked accurately, and student questions or issues are followed up. You will work closely with academic staff, learning system administrators, course designers and student support teams to help ensure our courses run smoothly and to a high standard.
This role would suit someone who has strong attention to detail, can manage competing priorities, and enjoys improving processes and supporting online learning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance checks on subject rooms to ensure content, assessments, resources and functionality are ready before each study period.
- Work closely with the Learning Management Systems Administrator to support subject and product set-up requirements and resolve identified issues.
- Maintain and monitor issues registers, ensuring matters are followed up and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Collect, analyse and report on student completions, results, success rates and performance data for governance meetings and academic review processes.
- Support quality assurance activities including spot checks, calibrations, moderations, validations, benchmarking and course review activities.
- Monitor student discussion forums and respond to administrative queries, escalating academic matters where required.
- Support the resolution of student queries, complaints, grievances and academic or non-academic misconduct matters in line with Kaplan policies.
- Collaborate with academics, instructional designers, practitioners, delivery teams and student support teams to support effective subject and program delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role within an RTO, higher education provider, learning and development environment, or similar education setting.
- Experience supporting the delivery of online education or digital learning programs.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret and report on student or program-related data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with academic, operational and student-facing teams.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy academic content team.
- Confidence using learning systems, digital tools and Microsoft Office, with sound administrative and documentation skills.
- Financial services qualifications, experience or active interest (including but not limited to the following areas: Financial Planning, Applied Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, Mortgage Broking, Insurance) (desirable)
