Role
Kaplan Business School is seeking a Communications Assistant to support the delivery of student communications across multiple digital channels.
In this role, you will help ensure students receive clear, engaging, and timely information throughout their journey, from orientation through to ongoing engagement initiatives. You will work closely with the National Communications Manager to support campaigns, create content, and provide insights that enhance the overall student experience.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career communications or digital marketing professional looking to build hands-on experience in campaign delivery, content creation, and digital engagement within a fast-paced education environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of student communication campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and digital platforms
- Draft, edit, and proofread clear and engaging student-facing content
- Assist with campaign setup, scheduling, testing, and distribution
- Create digital content and visual assets using tools like Canva
- Maintain and update content to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting and insights
- Manage basic audience segmentation and distribution lists
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate communication activities and initiatives
Requirements
- Qualification in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media (or similar) or relevant experience
- Strong written communication and proofreading skills
- Experience creating digital content (e.g. Canva or similar tools)
- Exposure to email marketing or digital communications platforms
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team environment
