Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work across Kaplan Business School and Kaplan Pathways.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out new initiatives as well as those in the portfolio backlog. If you are someone with a diverse skillset that can run multiple projects concurrently, then please apply below.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning in accordance with the agreed delivery approach with the KBS/Pathways Business Management team and IT Portfolio Management team, taking into consideration constraints and options for flexibility.
- Drive project outcomes by managing schedules and deliverables, supporting business requirements and solution validation, and identifying and removing obstacles to progress.
- Lead weekly Project Status and working group meetings; consolidate meetings where possible so that concurrent deliveries can be addressed.

Provide project governance and reporting support by maintaining project documentation, coordinating stakeholder updates and governance forums, and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.

Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships by facilitating collaboration, communicating project progress and risks, coordinating project meetings, and supporting timely issue resolution.

Support successful project implementation and transition by coordinating business readiness, communication and training activities, managing deployment communications, and facilitating project closure and lessons learned.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum five years' experience delivering business projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Relevant project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile, Scrum or equivalent).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Excellent workshop and meeting facilitation skills
- Highly collaborative and outcomes focused with solid influencing and relationship management skills
Desirable:
- Experience within higher education or a regulated industry.
- Experience delivering digital transformation, operational improvement or systems implementation projects.
- Experience working with Monday.com, Microsoft 365, Jira, Lucid charts and related project management tools.
- Experience supporting the delivery of artificial intelligence (AI), automation or digital innovation initiatives is desirable.
