Academic Integrity & Conduct Officer

Job No: KAP236
Location: Australia

Kaplan Business School is a private higher education provider and an integral function of the global Kaplan network that educates more than 1 million students each year.

In Australia, KBS is a growing school, resolutely committed to student success and academic integrity.  In pursuit of these objectives, an open, flexible and supportive leadership team cultivates a culture that embraces innovative methods of teaching and learning across four campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

As part of our commitment to the highest academic standards, we have created a new role – Academic Integrity & Conduct Officer.  This individual will be responsible for the administration and management of investigations that mostly pertain to student plagiarism, collusion and contract cheating, although this may also extend to non-academic cases of misconduct.

This role would suit any candidate who is able to combine a passion for ethics with compassion for students who often aren’t aware of the importance of academic integrity and the implications of any breaches.  This role therefore necessitates someone who is simultaneously tactful and uncompromising when it comes to matters of academic standards.

It is important to note this is a highly administrative role and therefore requires the successful candidate to have solid technological skills (particularly with Excel), a capacity for data entry, advanced productivity and time management capabilities, and superior attention to detail.

As a higher education institution, it is important that applicants have completed at least a Bachelor-level qualification and can demonstrate an aptitude for process management, stakeholder influence (oftentimes remotely), data analysis and reporting.

This position reports to the Registrar and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.

It is a requirement of all Kaplan employees to complete a National Police Check and hold a valid Working with Children Check in your relevant state. All costs will be covered by the employer.

Our passion is helping students reach their goals through quality education. Joining our team, you'll thrive in a dynamic and customer focused work environment. If you think this role suits your previous experience then please forward your letter of application and resume.

Applications close on the 25th June 2019.
