About the Role

Kaplan Business School specialises in providing higher education programmes in business and accounting to international and domestic students.

The Student Records Officer is responsible for all aspects of the campus specific database maintenance and liaison with the relevant stakeholders. They are to ensure that all financial and administrative information is recorded accurately and amended/altered when necessary.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all student data collected such as personal information, enrolment status, attendance, grades and visa and passport details are recorded accurately in campus databases;
  • Maintain and process data in the Student Management System (EduPoint) including data collected from students at orientation and throughout their course.
  • Financial administration comprising of receipting student payments, generating invoices, allocating receipts, processing refunds and credits, recording and reporting on FEE HELP, and managing all subjects changes and financial implications; and
  • Producing various reports and general administrative duties as required
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirements.
  • Ensure as far as is practicable that the workplace, under your control, is safe and without risks to health.

About You

To succeed in this role you'll have strong attention to detail, the ability to facilitate and maintain key relationships with internal and external sources, and proven experience in high-volume data entry.

In addition the successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service / administration or Office support roles
  • Ability to plan, control, coordinate and manage activities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to facilitate and maintain key relationships with internal and external sources.
  • Proven experience in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in high-volume environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • A motivated self-starter.
  • Experience in Student management databases

It is a requirement of all Kaplan employees to complete a National Police Check and hold a valid Working with Children Check in your relevant state. All costs will be covered by the employer.
