The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Department in our Sydney CBD office.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing will be responsible to play a pivotal role in driving leads to the business and increasing the market share of Kaplan Professional.
What you’ll do

Develop and implement an integrated digital marketing plan
- Researching, recommending and implementing comprehensive digital marketing plans across product categories
- Identifying opportunities and/or challenges in the business where online assets can provide a solution and improve efficiency

Translate business objectives into digital campaign management
- Collaborating with Product Marketing Managers on developing digital marketing campaign strategies
- Collaborating with Graphic Designer and Product Marketing Managers to optimise creatives for best digital advertising performance

Manage external agency and vendors relationships to support key business goals
- Acting as the main point of daily contact with our digital agency to communicate marketing objectives for digital campaigns
- Liaising with agency on media plans (e.g. SEM & SEO) to assist campaigns and generate leads

Website management and development
- Work with key stakeholders to plan and deliver a new and refreshed desktop and mobile responsive company website
- Continuously improve the usability, design and conversion of the current website

Lead generation and nurturing
- Developing and implementing a digital buyer journey
- Driving and monitoring new initiatives to improve lead generation
- Contribute to a supportive, positive and safe workplace
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, including WHS legislation requirements
- Ensuring as far as is practicable the workplace, under your control, is safe and without risks to health
What we are looking for
- Proven website management experience and excellent knowledge of working with CMS (Wordpress)
- Understanding of Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Facebook and social media platforms
- Experience in email campaign management such as Marketo, Sales Force Marketing Cloud
- Proven SEO and SEM management and reporting
- Ability to manage third party relationships such as agencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with data – list extraction and manipulation
- High level of organisational skills
- Deadline driven
- Ability to multitask
- Minimum 1 year experience in a marketing related area or digital
Desirable
- Positive, energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in marketing, digital or communications
- Experience implementing online and offline marketing campaigns
- Competent MS Office skills (with advanced Excel)
- Knowledge of Internet marketing
- Copywriting and editing experience
- Web design software knowledge
