Role
Mid-level Software Engineer role, working on Red Marker’s core platform.
We’ll mould the workflow to suit your career progression goals, whether that be back or front end.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Sydney team of 8 Engineers and 7 other professionals
- Develop an understanding of a complex system architecture, and start adding new functionality
- Deliver on a mix of greenfield and support tasks for legacy services/apps
Requirements
- Experience in PHP, Javascript and frameworks such as Laravel, Zend and Vue.js
- Test Driven Development and associated techniques
- Amazon Web Services, in-particular EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda
- Linux environments and shell scripting
- Experience in SQL. NoSQL experience a bonus
- Working with queue systems such as RabbitMQ in a Microservice Architecture
- Docker (or similar container technology), plus experience with Git
- Experience with testing Frameworks such as PHPUnit. Front end testing is a bonus
- Experience working with JIRA or similar work tracking platform
